The Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) is an initiative created by a network of international investors and supported by the United Nations. The 6 Principles provide a guideline for investors to voluntarily incorporate environmental, social and governance issues (ESG) into each part of the decision-making process.

IMPACT ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

The United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development provides a “shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future”.

Of the 17 sustainable development goals (SDG) provided by this blueprint, ALT Capital Partners focuses on 9 that we believe align with the ESG issues and will, together, achieve the greatest short and long term impact in South Africa.
